I like this, the simplicity, the clarity - but I think mostly because of the smile on the ducky's face. Good luck in the challenge. I'm not crazy about the free-for-all approach they are taking with it now; where people can post loads of pictures rather than one. And pictures from when ever. It used to be something photographed the month of the challenge. I guess I'm an old stick-in-the-mud.

This makes me smile! Great clarity and definition on the duck, and nice comp, too. I like the face-on shot.
